Backend Developer – SaaS Solutions

Description

Are you passionate about building high-performance applications in a Linux environment? Join our team as a Backend Developer and help shape the future of online video technology. In this role, you’ll translate complex online video workflows into cutting-edge applications powered by AI engines. From analysis to implementation, you’ll take ownership of the entire development process, driving innovative solutions and delivering exceptional results. Requirements

  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a computer science related field, or equivalent through experience
  • You have experience programming in Java, Python and/or GO
  • You can handle a terminal and feel comfortable in a Linux and Open Source environment
  • You are eager to learn and like to be given the space to help determine the direction of a project
  • You are interested in online video and eager to gain further experience in it
  • You are a team-player, always willing to help colleagues, even if it is sometimes outside your field of expertise
  • You have good knowledge of English and/or Dutch

Bonus Skills

  • Familiarity with HTML and JavaScript
  • Hands-on experience with AI engines
  • Knowledge of online video software like FFmpeg and streaming protocols like HLS and DASH
  • Previous work experience in a similar role
